Question

What is the wedding attire?

Answer

The wedding attire is guayabera black tie. For men, this means a white linen long-sleeve guayabera shirt with a black bow tie (no jacket), black tux pants or black slacks, and black tux shoes. See the image above for an example. For women, this means a long, floor-length dress, just as would be worn in black-tie attire.

Question

Where can I buy a Guayabera?

Answer

If you need ideas of where you can buy a Guayabera, you can go to a shop in Miami called Guayaberas - Coral Gables. You can contact Miguel (contact info below) to place your orders. Mention you are attending Annie Tablada and Bob Aran's wedding in January 2022 and you will be able to get them at a discounted price. Question

What is the protocol for COVID?

Answer

In an effort to keep all guests safe and healthy, we are asking all guests to please get tested for COVID-19 at most 72 hours before the wedding. We would ask for it ideally to be a PCR test. However we know lines to get tested are long, so if a PCR test cannot be done, we ask that a rapid antigen test please be done (can be purchased at Walgreens, CVS, Amazon). The wedding ceremony will be indoors and the reception venue will be outdoors. Ceremony: Masks required. The Catholic Archdiocese of Miami and Church of the Epiphany are requiring everyone regardless of vaccination status to wear a mask at all times during the wedding ceremony. We ask that you please bring a mask. We will have extra masks for those who need one! Reception: The wedding venue is an outdoor 5-acre property, with plenty of space to find your comfortable place. We’re going to try to space things out as much as possible and group tables by family to keep your exposure to your regular social circle.

Question

Where can I get tested for COVID-19?

Answer

Miami-Dade offers free COVID-19 testing. Here is a website to find testing facilities near you: https://www.miamidade.gov/global/initiatives/coronavirus/testing-locations.page If you don’t want to wait in the long lines, below is the link to PCR testing sites that are by appointment only, so there is usually no wait time and you receive your results in 4 hours. But like all things good in life, there is a fee - $50 out of pocket with insurance. They have various locations all over Miami. We recommend you reserve your spot since the slots fill up quickly. https://curogram.com/registrations/5fe36e5c4e34517fc06fdaa1
