“You don’t sound like you could possibly have a son who is 27!” he said… To which she replied “are you flirting with me, sir?” Bob and Rosalie met very early one morning when she was a customer service representative with Cape Air and he was on his way to Florida to be with his family for the holidays. A mutual friend had given him a ride to the airport and asked about Will. (it also gave him a pedigree ;) The flight was delayed. They began to chat, she offered tea, and he asked her to go walking with him in the park. In February they had their first walk together… 5 miles on snow covered ice in the Winter Wonderland of Acadia. He held her hand and she melted. By April, after many many miles of walking, they realized that their lives were becoming entwined and he gave her his class ring and varsity jacket… as of yet still waiting for those.In April of 2024 he proposed and she accepted.
