A: Your invitation will indicate all invited guests. We love your kids, but we would love to give you a night off to spend with us! We understand the difficulties of finding child care, however we are limiting children to close family members.
A: We are accounting for our gluten free and vegetarian family and friends in our planning. If you have any additional dietary restrictions, please let us know.
A: Because this is the Green Mountain state, our hotel strives to be very eco-friendly. As such, they discourage the use of single use plastic water bottles. We encourage our guests to bring their own water bottles for use during the weekend. The hotel provides ample filtered water for your enjoyment.
A: The hotel is closed for all reservations during our wedding weekend, except for our guests. We have booked out the venue for Friday and Saturday night. Please indicate on your RSVP whether you will be staying at Trailside. ** Members of the wedding party, please let us know if you will be arriving before Friday.
A: Vermont has so much to offer and we hope that our guests will enjoy some of the wonderful things that we love about this state. Please check out the activities page on the Trailside website, or the Things to Do page on this site for some great suggestions of things to do in the area. Whether you're interested in checking out the beautiful scenery, enjoying some craft beer, getting in a few rounds of golf, or taking advantage of the local stores and markets, you won't be disappointed!
A: Ladies - most of the events will be on grass, so feel free to dress in comfortable, grass-friendly shoes (flats or wedges). Please note temperatures tend to dip at night, and since the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside you might want to bring a jacket or wrap. However, there will also be heaters to help keep you warm.
A: You are welcome to bring your favorite drink for the welcome party only. Due to Vermont Liquor laws, all alcohol drinks during cocktail hour and the reception must be served by our caterer. Don't worry, it's an open bar and plenty of beverages will be supplied for all events throughout the weekend.
