Will there be a wedding ceremony?

Answer

No. This is an open-house style reception because we eloped in Colorado on August 19th! Our ceremony was just between the two of us, and we want to celebrate this new adventure with you after with this party! You'll be able to see photos of our special day throughout the reception venue! And we will be dressed in our wedding clothes. There are a few photos from our special day on this site and we'll have photos up at the reception as well.

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

We are having award-winning BBQ King catered in! If you're from the area, you know what a treat you're in for 🤗 We'll have chicken, pork, and brisket. Gluten free buns will be available! Sides will be their mac and cheese, deviled egg potato salad, a cobb salad, and a chopped salad. The buffet will be available starting around 5:30 until 7:30-8. For dessert, we'll have mini Ben and Jerry's & Häagen-Dazs ice creams and mouth-watering cookies of several flavors! Come hungry!

Will there be open bar?

Answer

Yes, we'll have an open bar available the entire duration of the reception (5-9pm). Water and sodas will also be available.

Is it okay if I show up later than 5?

Answer

Yes, absolutely! This is an open house style reception, so come when you want and leave when you want. You won't be interrupting anything whenever you arrive. Just be sure to say hi to us at some point :)

What's the dress code?

Answer

Whatever you feel comfortable in! We want this to be casual and enjoyable. If you want to wear jeans, great. If you want to dress up a bit, great.

We're sorry, but this event is adults only. We ask that anyone under 18 stay at home.
