What is the vibe? What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. We're embracing the timeless charm of Ludington's marina setting with a classy, elegant affair. Think cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, dressy separates, suits, or sport coats—feel free to add a little coastal flair! Jess has been having fun pulling colors from her paintings to inspire the day, and the bridal party will be wearing a beautiful Seaglass shade (a soft teal green). We kindly ask guests to avoid wearing white or Seaglass to help the bridal party stand out.

Where should I stay?

Answer

Ludington is a charming lakeside town offering a variety of places to stay, from cozy historic bed & breakfasts and locally owned rentals to well-known hotel chains. Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’d love for you to be fully present, so we’re having an unplugged ceremony. Our photographer will capture everything beautifully- we have the dream team!

Are kids allowed?

Answer

While we absolutely love your little ones and know how special family time is, we kindly ask that all wedding day events remain adults-only (with the exception of our bridal party’s children). That said, kids are welcome at our Friday Beach Day, where you can enjoy a fun and relaxed outing with the whole family before the formal festivities begin. For the wedding day, we suggest bringing a trusted family member or caregiver to watch your kids so you can fully enjoy the celebration. We hope this weekend can be a well-deserved adult getaway for you, and we appreciate your understanding as we create an intimate atmosphere for the ceremony and reception. Can I bring a plus one?

We wish we could celebrate with everyone, but due to venue capacity and budget considerations, we kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation join us for our special day. Please RSVP only for the number of guests specified on your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you! ❤️

Are there Lyfts in Ludington?

Answer

Rideshare services like Lyft and Uber are not available in Ludington, but DJ’s Taxi operates with three cars on the road at all times. To make transportation smooth and stress-free, we recommend booking accommodations close to the venue. Ludington is a charming but small town, so staying nearby will make it easier to enjoy the festivities without worry! 🚖✨
