FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by Sep 7th, 2025.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at San Francisco City Hall by 1:00 PM. The ceremony begins at 1:30 PM, and since parking and security can take a little time, we recommend leaving early. For the dinner at HL Peninsula Pearl, please plan to head out at least 40 minutes in advance, as traffic can be heavy in the evening.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Our guests may park at the Civic Center Parking Garage, located underground near San Francisco City Hall. Please note that parking is not free T-T. But we will include a detailed map in our reminder email to help you find it.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love little ones, but for this special day, we kindly ask that very young children not attend, as the ceremony will be brief and intimate. Older children who can comfortably join the ceremony and our dinner gathering are warmly welcome.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We want everyone to shine and feel fabulous—after all, we’ll be capturing lots of photos throughout the day! 🌸 Ladies, please wear a dress in shades of pink or blush. Gentlemen, a classic suit will be just right. Pro tip for the ladies: consider bringing two pairs of shoes—perhaps a pair of heels for photos and a pair of flats for later. After the ceremony, you may want to stroll around San Francisco, and comfort will be key! For everyone: San Francisco weather can be unpredictable and chilly sometimes, so we suggest bringing a light jacket to stay comfortable.

Question

Will the reception be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Our dinner will be held indoors at HL Peninsula Pearl in Burlingame, in a private room with an ocean view. It will be something to look forward to! 🌊✨

Question

Food dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please feel free to contact either Jingwei or Tongyang directly, and we’ll be happy to make sure your needs are taken care of.

Question

What can we do between the ceremony and dinner?

Answer

Between 3 and 5 pm, we’ll be taking wedding photos at City Hall. Guests are welcome to enjoy a little free time. For those who’d like to explore the area, here are a few options nearby: - San Francisco Public Library – a quiet spot next to City Hall if you’d like to read, catch up on emails, or get a bit of work done. - Big Bus San Francisco – hop on a sightseeing bus to enjoy iconic city views. The ticket price is around $49. - Union Square – a short ride away for shopping or people-watching. - Hayes Valley – a charming neighborhood within walking distance, full of cafés, boutiques, and art galleries. - Asian Art Museum – right next to City Hall, for a cultural stop.

Question

Is there a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes! Please head to the Registry tab on our website. Having you celebrate with us is truly the greatest gift—please don’t feel obligated to give anything. If you would like to gift us something, a handwritten card with your blessings would mean the world to us. 💕
