We have booked hotels in two places! Mt. Juliet which is where Emily and her family lives. Mt. Juliet has plenty to do, some amazing places to eat, and a great area to shop. It is only about a 20- 25 minute drive into the city. Mt. Juliet is also about the same distance from the venue depending on where you stay within Mt. Juliet. 
We have also blocked rooms in Gallatin. Gallatin is where the venue is but is a little farther out from the city. It would be best to stay here if you are just coming in for the wedding and not planning on exploring the city.
