If you have known us from the beginning, you might have seen this coming. Our paths crossed in a lot of small ways over time, but it wasn’t until the spring of 2022 that our friendship really started. That summer we spent a lot of time together, and our connection grew stronger. Most of our “hangouts” looked a lot like dates. We would get a sweet treat, go mini golfing, drive around town, and just enjoy being together. Over the next few years we became each other’s best friend. Then came the Chiefs Super Bowl Parade in 2024. A day that was supposed to be entirely celebratory ended up reminding us how short life is and how important the people we love really are. It was then that we finally realized our feelings for each other. We have loved every moment together since.
