Madison - Dane County Regional Airport (MSN)
Flying into Madison (Dane County Regional Airport) is very convenient but we know it can be expensive! Other options: - Milwaukee airport is about a 1.5 hour drive. Badger Bus runs a route to Madison that takes ~2 hours and costs ~$25 one way. - Chicago O'Hare is about a 2 hour drive. Van Galder Bus runs a route to Madison that takes ~3 hours and costs ~$36 one way.

[Note: We've heard from some guests that the Courtyard and Fairfield staff incorrectly said that the had reached room block capacity. We've worked through this with the hotel teams and they've both made additional blocks available and confirmed that they'll honor the block rate for any existing reservations for the wedding guests. Please contact the hotel and let them know you're part of the Compton Strauss Wedding and they'll update to the lower rate] We've blocked rooms at both the Courtyard Madison East and the Fairfield Inn and Suites Madison East (they share a parking lot). You will be staying 25 minutes from the venue, and 20 minutes from downtown Madison. We will be running free buses from these hotels to the venue. If you don't stay here, you can still take the shuttle from this location as long as you rsvp that you will be doing so :) Please click the "View" button below to get a discounted rate, or mention the Compton-Strauss Wedding if calling for a reservation.

We will have two shuttles running to/from the venue on May 3. Shuttle One: Will be stopping by the West Side SpringHill Suites (4601 Frey Street Madison, WI 53705) at 2:30PM before heading to the Courtyard/Fairfield (East side) and then going to the venue (3:10 PM) Shuttle Two: Will be picking folks up time from Courtyard Madison East at 3:10 pm Shuttles will be leaving the venue at 8:45 pm, 9:30 pm, and 10:45 pm to return to the hotel(s). Only the 10:45 return shuttle will be going to the Springhill Suites (west side ETA 11:40). *Note that Uber/Lyft do not typically pick up from the venue, so please do not rely on rideshare options to return to town.
