Emmie and I first met at Stagecoach country music festival in 2018. Emmie was there with a group of her friends and I was there with a group of mine, which included her brother Derek. Emmie and her friends came to say "Hi" to Derek and this is where she first caught my eye. I'm not the type to typically approach a good looking girl, but with some reassurance from Jordan Lewis and Emmie's now sister-in-law, Jacque Browning (Scali), I went in for the introduction. We chatted for a bit that night, then our groups went our separate ways. I couldn't seem to get Emmie off my mind, so the next morning I thought it was a good idea to tell Derek I thought Emmie was cute (typically not a good idea). Expecting him to shoot a warning glare my way, to my surprise he responded with "You 100% have my blessing if you want to talk to her". Overjoyed with that response, I couldn't wait to cross paths with her that night. I knew Emmie was someone special when I asked her if she wanted a bite of my pizza that night, and rather than grabbing the pizza herself, she let me feed it to her. I tried to play it cool and wait a couple days before I sent Emmie a message asking for her number. We chatted for a couple weeks before I eventually flew down to Orange County for our first date. We had a great time and this is when our relationship officially began. We dated long distance for almost 2 years before I was able to convince Emmie and her family that she should move to NorCal to live with me. We have lived together ever since with our dogs and have never been happier. I proposed to Emmie in July of 2020 in Lake Tahoe surrounded by our families (besides Bran, Rach & Jackson) and some of our closest friends. It has been a very interesting past couple years to get engaged and plan a wedding with a pandemic going on, but we couldn't be happier our wedding is right around the corner. We look forward to sharing our special day with all of you. Love, Bo & Emmie
