Our wedding is being held on the breathtaking grounds of the historic Meadowbrook Hall, located on the campus of Oakland University. Built in the 1920s by the widow of Motor City automaker John Dodge, this 18,000 square foot Tudor style estate served as the family's primary residence until 1957 when the house and it's 1500 acres were donated as a means to initiate and develop Oakland University. The estate was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2012, and is recognized as the fourth-largest historic house museum in the United States. It sees over 50,000 tourists annually, coming to see one of the finest examples of Tudor-revival architecture in America, featuring 39 chimneys and 27 fireplaces, 16 state gardens, grand ballrooms, stone detailing, and century old stained glass. During our cocktail hour, guests will be permitted to walk around and tour the Mansion, enjoy live music and Hors d'oeuvres on the Stone Terrace, or roam in one of the 16 breathtaking gardens.

We kindly in invite guests to dress in Formal, Black Tie evening attire. Gentlemen may wear a tuxedo or a formal suit with a tie, and ladies may choose floor-length gown or formal dress. The ceremony will be outside in the gardens of Meadowbrook, and reception will be held in the climate controlled garden tent.
Guest arrival time is between 4:30pm - 4:45pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm, followed by cocktail hour from 5:30-6:30pm, and dinner service at 7:00pm. PLEASE BRING VALID I.D. THE BAR WILL CARD EVERYONE BEFORE SERVING ANY ALCOHOL **If you are immediate family, the arrival time could be earlier than 4:30 in order to take photos. We will communicate these times with you privately.
