We are so Excited we get to celebrate our RECEPTION with you!

Like any cheesy romantic movie or novel, we met at a wedding. Our good friends Kaitlyn and Jacob Bybee were getting married in August of 2017. Neither Brady or myself thought we would be able to make the wedding as we both had other things going on in our daily lives, but as fate had it we were both there. At the end of the ceremony we were standing by the Bride and Groom saying our congratulations when we were pulled together by the bride and introduced. For the remainder of the wedding we spent time together dancing and celebrating into the early morning. At some point during the evening I was talked into writing my phone number on a napkin by Taylor, another one of our good friends. So I did just that and handed the napkin to Brady which he put in his pocket not knowing what was on it. When early morning came and I had to head home Brady asked for my phone number which I told him he already had on the napkin I gave him, and he still has to this day. I truly thought I had just met a great guy, but really didn't expect to hear from him as we both lived in different states and had busy lives. I was a single mom just starting my Senior year of Dental Hygiene school and Brady was working hard to advance in his career, so it really didn't seem like there was much room for starting a relationship for either one of us. But to my surprise just a few minutes after I left I got a text message from Brady telling me what a great time he had and that he hoped we would continue to talk and get to know one another. Now here we are two years latter, engaged and planning this wonderful day together.

It was a Sunday morning and we had planned to go on a hike up and around Cave Lake in Ely, NV. The morning hadn't started off so well as we had been up since just a little past midnight due to a sever storm that had blown through. Neither one of us could sleep so WIDE awake we were, both of us kinda bummed out because we had talked about doing this hike for a while but knew it probably wasn't going to happen since we were both very tired. Once 8 or 9 o'clock rolled around I decided we should still go, got up packed a lunch for us and we headed out. The day was beautiful and the weather was perfect. As we rounded the corner, several miles in, that overlooked the lake I took out my phone to take pictures. Brady was crouched down next to me taking pictures as well, or so I thought. When I put my phone away and turned to him to say lets go find a place to eat lunch, there he was down on one knee holding the ring in his hand. I was in shock as it was completely unexpected and he was full of love and emotion. With tears in both of our eyes he looked up at me and asked "will you be my wife", of course I said YES!!! Our son Landon was also with us that day, which made things extra special. I would say one of the best parts of the moment, although there were many, was Landon being in shock, repeating over and over, also with tears in his eyes, "is this real!? Is this really happening!? Seriously!? Your going to be my DAD!?" All three of us are very excited for this chapter in our lives and can't wait to see what comes next!

We got married at Bow Bridge by the river in Hailey ID. It was truly the perfect day <3 The snow was fresh on the ground, the sun was shining and felt so warm on our skin :) A small group of our wedding party and close family were able to attend on short notice and witness our day which was so special to us!!! My brother married us, Bradys mother, father, sister, sister in law and brother did all the flowers and décor (it was truly breathtaking, I was in tears walking through the trees to the river bank.) Many others helped with set up and take down. My wonderful friend Jen Fife did my hair and my beautiful sister did my makeup. Our main photographer Christine Marie and our videographer Guage Horn were both able to make it on a very short two week notice. Everything truly fell together as if it was meant to be and the day couldn't have been more perfect for both of us!
