Anyone who knows us knows that we go WAY back. We've actually known one another since May of 2002. Beau's parents were friends with a gentleman my mother got remarried to and that's how we met. Never living in the same state, we only ever saw one another when an event such as a Jr. golf tournament in GA or a family vacation in MI brought the other to town. You know that crush you have in elementary school where you go "I'm going to marry them one day"? Well that was actually the case (at least for me - Beau took a while to warm up to the idea of dating someone a few years younger than him). That crush lasted through the years and then one day in 2014, when catching up as old friends do, we just kept the conversation going and it never stopped. Our friends thought we were crazy and our families both said "we wish you would start dating when you're older". So what did we do? We proceeded to date long-distance for 5 years, after which point we eliminated the distance and moved in together. We spent a year in Pittsburgh, very quickly tired of the cold, and decided to pick up our lives and move to sunny Florida. The week we went house-hunting in November 2019 also involved a last-minute, surprise proposal! Fast forward to 2021, we now share a wonderful home and life together in St. Petersburg, FL (accompanied by the best dog ever- Bear), and just celebrated our 7-year anniversary in February. After a now year-and-a-half long engagement, we are over the moon excited to be able to share our big day with everyone and look forward to officially becoming "a pair of Tits" with those we love in attendance!
