Answer

The wedding is October 4th, 2025 from 4:00pm-10:00pm at the Penguin Room at Whitehall Mill (3300 Clipper Mill Rd, Baltimore, Maryland 21211). The ceremony will start at promptly 4:00pm so we ask for you arrive 30 minutes early to assure to you don't miss anything.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Cocktail or Semi-Formal Attire. The wedding and reception takes place entirely indoors. Here is a site for reference: https://www.brides.com/story/wedding-dress-code-explained

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 3rd, 2025 by clicking on the RSVP tab in the menu above. This will allow us to give final numbers to our catering team. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume you're not able to attend to celebrate with us then. If you are not able to make it, you will be missed! Please make sure to let us know by replying to the RSVP as Not Attending so we can plan accordingly. We will find another time to celebrate with you!

Question

Can I bring a plus-one? Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the specific guests named on the invitation. If you have a plus one, it will be indicated on your invitation. While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a night off to relax and celebrate with us! If you need help finding a babysitter for the evening, feel free to reach out. We’re happy to assist. Thank you so much for understanding, we truly can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Baltimore Washington International (BWI) is located in the Baltimore area and is the closest airport to our venue and celebration (about 20-25 minutes from Harbor East/Fells Point where hotels blocks are located) Please see our "Travel" page for more details.

Question

Are there hotel blocks or recommended places to stay?

Answer

Yes, we have hotel blocks at: The Hilton Garden Inn Baltimore Inner Harbor, The Baltimore Marriott Waterfront, and The Sagamore Pendry Baltimore. Rooms at our discounted rates are first come, first served and are available until room block fulfillment or until the cut-off date of Wednesday, September 3, 2025 whichever comes first. Please see our "Travel" page for more details.

Question

Is transportation provided to and from the venue? Where can I park if I drive?

Answer

We will be transporting guests from the hotels up to the venue and back at the end of the night. There will be limited parking onsite. More specific information will be coming shortly! Ubers/Lyfts are available in Baltimore and we encourage using if you are not using our provided transportation or driving. Please give yourself extra time for any of the options to account for any unexpected traffic.

Question

Should I rent a car if I'm flying in from somewhere other than Maryland?

Answer

You can, if you'd like, especially if you intend to explore outside the city. However, we know rental cars are expensive and our hotels do charge for parking. We tried to keep our out-of-town guests in mind with our accomodations. We've arranged a shuttle to transport those out of town guests who are staying at our hotel to and from the wedding (see more details in the Transportation tab at the top). The Harbor East and Fells Point areas where the hotels are located are very walkable to restaurants, coffee shops, and other places to explore between wedding events.

Question

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

In order for our catering team to be able to accomodate any allergies or dietary restrictions, we will need to know in advance of the wedding. Please indicate on your RSVP anything we need to be aware of so we can provide an alternative option.

Question

Where are you registered for gifts?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all! But, if you would like to contribute to our next chapter, we’ve put together a registry here: https://www.zola.com/registry/bmorewithrobandsam We encourage you to purchase any gifts online as opposed to bringing it with you, save on luggage fees!

Question

Is Baltimore a safe city? I've seen the show The Wire and it seems like dangerous place.

Answer

While it is a great show, The Wire has given Baltimore a rough (and way outdated) reputation! We love Baltimore, it's a great city and has really wonderful things to offer (see the Samantha and Robert's Baltimore recomomendation tabs)! Just like any other major city, Baltimore is safe as long as you're using your common sense! The hotels are in safe neighborhoods but if you feel uncomfortable, feel free to use transportation like Uber/Lyft. If you have any question about where you should or should not visit, please don't hesitate to reach out to us for a little guidance!

Question

Are there any nearby attractions or things to do while we’re in town?

Answer

Yes, please see the "Robert & Sam’s Baltimore Picks" page for more details
