PROS: Centrally located near many amenities, good heap restaurants, etc. 10-minute drive from the wedding venue, part of a modern hotel chain we've used before. CONS: Situated directly next to UC Berkeley dorms and Greek life, so it will be very noisy Thursday through Sunday. Bring or buy ear plugs or get a top floor room!

PRICE RANGE: ~$300/night for 1 room with 2 people, ~$400/night for room with 4 people. PROS: Historic building with lots of amenities onsite, AARP discount. Very close to the venue and walking distance of downtown Berkeley. CONS: Older building, slightly more expensive. Price can be reduced with an AARP discount and by booking a 4-person suite where 2 people sleep on a bed and 2 in a pullout couch or air mattress.

PRICE RANGE: ~200/night PROS: Near the ocean, quiet, good deals often available online for cheaper options. CONS: Further away from everything, so you will need a car. ~20 minute drive into Berkeley, at least 30 minute drive to the wedding venue.

PRICE RANGE: ~$200/night but deals available online PROS: Near lots of outlet shopping and Trader Joes, located right on the water. CONS: 30-minute drive from downtown Berkeley. Driving to the venue could take anywhere from 35 minutes to over an hour depending on traffic! Also, be cautious in the immediate area, especially at night.
