Block Island is accessible by ferry or plane. We recommend arriving by ferry, with the most frequent service departing from Point Judith, RI with high speed and traditional ferries available. For our out of state friends and family, ferries are also available from New London, CT and Montauk, NY. We strongly recommend booking ferry tickets in advance! While it is always an option to book your car ahead of time on the ferry, we recommend leaving them on the mainland. Cars and mopeds are available for rent and taxis are always parked conveniently next to the ferry upon your arrival.

While most places are walking distance from town, taxis are always available! When you arrive, The Atlantic Inn is a 10 minute walk from the ferry.
