I was the new kid in the neighborhood when I met Charles...no, we weren’t best friends at first sight. Ha! From the tender age of 12, Charles and I grew up together. More than a brother from another Mother; we’ve been through it all. He has seen me at my strongest and at my weakest; he’s been the voice of reasoning when I needed it the most. I remember the day I told him about Raisa he said, “yeah that’s the one.” My “bruvah” has always had my back! One phone call away he was ready to go. Never asked me questions if I was right or wrong I’ll be wrong or right later :-). We grew from boys to men, still he stood by my side. On this day, he stands by my side as I marry the woman God gave me.

My Superplanner! With incredible practical and luxurious taste, Shayla and I have known each other for 8 years! I remember that day in my living room, while casually chilling with Blue and friends when she nudged me and said "You know Blue is about to move upstairs right? You better go get your man!" I said "How you know?" She said "Listen to them talking! Blue just told dude over there he's moving in the building!" LOL Once co-workers, merged into a unique friendship--Shayla and I practically matured together. If I know nothing else, I know Shay Shay got my back no matter what! I am honored to have this chocolate beauty next to me on my special day!

BIG ROB!!!! Once co-workers, then fishing buddies...Big Rob and I have been friends for 6 years. A man of his word with great character and most importantly, great friend. I am honored to be his friend, I remember when we met, he was the “big dude” in the room who didn’t appear to be afraid of anything! Who would’ve thought we’d have so much in common? With no hesitation he agreed to witness me marry the woman of my dreams and I wouldn’t have anyone else in his place.

😆 my main man MJ!!! He was the most interesting kid when I first met him...he was about 9 years old. Raisa brought him over to the apartment to spend some time with her and he would hide behind the dining room table, in corners and behind doors, and sneak out just to say “Hi.” Then he began playing football and I would go to his games. We would talk about football all the time! Words can’t describe my love for the kid, that’s my lil’ brother, for real!!! I’ve watched him grow from a boy into a young man. He gave me his blessing to marry his sister, and today, he belongs next to me as I stand before he, our friends, family and God and take his sister’s hand in holy matrimony.
