Yes! We were married in an intimate family ceremony on December 20, 2024. This is a celebration of our marriage for our friends who were not there on our wedding day.
BOOK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! Nantucket is a small island and there are a limited number of hotels. We also recommend looking at Airbnb and Vrbo options, as they tend to cost a bit less. Hotels we recommend are: Hotel Pippa Faraway Nantucket Brass Lantern Inn Carlise House Inn Ships Inn Cliff Lodge Barnacle Inn Union Street Inn
Friday is garden party and Saturday is beachy cocktail. Ladies: Since this is not a wedding, you are welcome to wear white! I highly recommend against heels though—stick to a wedge or flat sandals. Bring a shawl or light jacket. Men: Khakis or linen pants and a button down are perfect for both nights.
Eat, drink, beach, and shop! Michael's favorites: sandwiches from Provisions (especially the turkey terrific), peppermint ice cream at The Juice Bar, Millie's, Cisco Brewers, the Whaling Museum, Hospital Thrift Shop. Sarah's favorites: Lemon Press, Aunt Leah's Fudge, dinner at Galley Beach, Nantucket Bookworks, window shopping at the antique shops, the 'Sconset Bluff Walk (this is where we got engaged!).
Yes! You can Uber anywhere on the island. There are also rental cars at the airport.
The average high on Nantucket in June is 70 and the average low is 59. It's best to pack for more typical spring weather than summer.
Unless directly addressed on the invitation, we cannot offer you a plus-one. We are aiming to keep this weekend as intimate as possible so we can spend plenty of time with everyone!
