FAQs

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP here through the website, or by sending the response card back in the mail. Either option is totally okay with us! If you have not responded to the RSVP by September 1st, you will be marked as having declined your invitation.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm. We ask you arrive at least 15 minutes early to find your seats and settle before the ceremony has begun. We will have live musicians during this time.

Question

Will the wedding be held inside or outside?

Answer

Ideally, the wedding ceremony will be held outside, and the reception, inside. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony can be held inside. October in New Hampshire is typically in the 60s, so bring a layer if needed!

Question

What is the attire for your wedding?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. The bridal party will be in shades of pink, and the groomsmen will be in navy blue.

Question

Will either of you be changing your last name?

Answer

As of now, we are both keeping our current last names. If you'd like to give a check, you can make it out to Tessa Blood or Christopher Torpey.

Question

Where should we send/bring our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, we have a wedding registry here on Zola. You can also have a gift delivered to our home address (refer to invitations). A wedding card box will be at our reception as well.

Question

Food Allergens?

Answer

Our wedding cake will feature almonds, so be sure to skip it if you have a nut allergy! We will have an alternate allergen-free dessert option available. Under the RSVP section, you can also let us know of any food allergies you have, or reach out to us directly at bloodtessa16@gmail.com.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we will be having an open bar! It will feature two signature cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits. Please bring cash to tip the bartenders!

Question

Can we take our own photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an "Unplugged Ceremony", meaning we kindly ask phones and cameras stay put away. We've hired a professional photographer for the day, and we want all of our friends and family to be fully present with us during the ceremony.
