You will be able to drive in South Africa with a US driver’s license. When renting a car, please note you will need to request an automatic transmission and you will be driving on the LEFT side of the road. There are alternative options other than Avis.

Salt Rock Hotel

We recommend staying at the Salt Rock Hotel for the days leading up to the wedding. This will be where a majority of guests will stay and where the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception will be held. Rooms can be reserved directly through Salt Rock’s website (typically available 10 months ahead of reservation date)
