Question
“Can I bring my kids? / Can I bring a +1?”
Answer
Many of our friends have been blessed with lots of wonderful kiddos, and we love them! However, due to occupancy limits at the venue, we can’t include everybody’s children on the guest list. Any children/+1s who are invited will be listed on your invitation. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Melissa or John. Thank you so much for your understanding!

“Can I drink at the reception? / Will alcohol be served? / Can I bring my own drinks?”
Answer
This is a dry wedding/reception. We appreciate your willingness to abide by this policy as failure to do so will put us in violation of our contract with the venue.
Question
“What is the dress code?”
Answer
We would appreciate everyone wearing their Sunday Best. However, suits & ties are NOT required. What really matters to us is that you are there!
Question
“Are you registered? / Should I bring gifts to reception or send to your home?”
Answer
We are registered at Target and on our wedding website, Zola. We also welcome any donation to our future house that we hope to purchase later this year. Gifts can be brought to the reception or can be delivered directly to Melissa’s apartment in Krum, Tx. (Let us know if you need the address.)
Question
“What’s the schedule of events that day?”
Answer
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. It should conclude by 5pm, at which time we’ll serve appetizers while the family has photos taken. A BBQ dinner will begin at 6:00pm. There will be cake, toasts, and dancing until 9:00pm.
Question
“What can I do to help?”
Answer
We could use a few friends/family to help decorate at the venue starting at noon that day. Also to save on costs, we will need to clear all the tables of trash and remove all the decor after the reception. If you’re able to stay and help with that, we would really appreciate it!
