We found love in the middle of a pandemic, but we can’t say it was immediate. Like most couples our age, we met online. The conversation was deep and meaningful and flowed easily so we were excited to meet. Our first date was at a Mexican restaurant and Lindsay was very late (ask us why, it’s a great story). The conversation was good but the date ended with an awkward side hug and Lindsay text her best friend “I’ll never see that guy again” as soon as she got in her car. But Russ wasted no time in wanting to set up a second date and they spent Halloween together 3 days later, watching cheesy old scary movies and eating ice cream. Russ continued to show Lindsay what it was like to be respected while dating and it didn’t take long before Lindsay was smitten. She told him she loved him just two short months later for Christmas and the rest is history.
