If you are coming in by airplane, you would fly into the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (Airport code SDF). Clarksville, Indiana is located 15 minutes from this airport and the wedding venue is 1 hour and 20 minutes from this airport. Note: Flights booked on Southwest Airlines before May 28th will still receive free checked bags.

We recommend renting a car from the airport as you fly in. The area is not considered walkable so you will need transportation to get around.

Wedding Location Logistics

For out of town visitors we recommend staying in the southern Indiana area around Clarksville or downtown Jeffersonville, Indiana as this is where we live and you will find a lot more places to stay and things to do. The venue is located an hour away in a remote area. If you prefer to stay near the venue there are some Airbnbs available in the Patoka Lake area within 10 minutes of the venue.

This is a newer hotel located in Clarksville near where we live. There are lots of chain stores and restaurants in the area and it will put you close to family and friends around the wedding.

Towneplace Suites is a modern hotel in the heart of downtown Jeffersonville. This is less than 10 minutes from our home and is surrounded by a beautiful park and pedestrian bridge over the Ohio River, cute shops, and local restaurants. You can also find beautiful views of the Louisville skyline.

Jeffersonville

If you prefer to rent a house for your stay there are some great options in downtown Jeffersonville. We would recommend staying near the riverfront (around Spring Street) in Jeffersonville. This puts you near the walking bridge as well as shops and restaurants within walking distance.
