Walker and Bliss first met at a summer camp in Ellerbe, North Carolina, when they were just eight years old. Bliss knew even then that Walker was someone special. They spent several summers at camp together but eventually lost touch. Years later, fate brought them back together, and their relationship quickly blossomed—despite the challenges of Walker’s military service and Bliss’s college life.
