Church Etiquette
Before entering:
Avoid short or revealing clothing.
Be reverent - keep voices low, phones on silent.
Catholics genuflect; non-Catholics may pause or bow.
During Mass:
Follow the congregation if comfortable - stand, sit, and kneel when others do.
If not, simply remain seated quietly. Join hymns/prayers if you wish.
Communion is for Catholics - others may remain seated or approach with arms crossed for a blessing.
Conduct:
Respect sacred spaces, avoid the altar area, no food/drink/gum, photography only if allowed, guide children to stay quiet.
After Mass:
Leave quietly; you’re welcome to join any social gathering outside.
