Blessen and Jaime first met through an Easter charity event at Belmont Race Track, hosted by the then Youth Director of Jaime's church aka her older brother Jibin. By pure happenstance or as Jaime would call it "fate", they both decided to attend last minute. They were introduced through mutual friends and carried along their separate ways. In the summer of 2015, Blessen and Jaime reconnected. They shared a common love for good food, bollywood, and quickly became inseparable friends. A few short months later, Blessen couldn't imagine a life in which Jaime wasn't a part of and came up with a 5 year plan to marry her. Over the years, they cherished each other and learned to grow as partners, experiencing life together. On July 24th, 2020, (during a pandemic) Blessen stayed true to his 5 year plan and asked Jaime to marry him. Of course she said YES.
