Why is your website "blessed goose"?

Answer

"Bennett" originates from the Latin "benedictus," meaning "blessed," and "Ganss" means "goose" from Old German! Put them together and we are the blessed geese!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Smart casual for Friday Game Night. Cocktail attire for Saturday ceremony and reception. Please refrain from white/ivory.

Where should I park for the ceremony?

Answer

The Ryken Parking Lot will be reserved with signs for the Bennett/Ganss wedding at St. John's Prep. Cross the street and follow the red brick path. If you require handicapped/assisted parking, please reach out to us for additional assistance and instruction.

Where should I park for the reception?

Answer

Transportation between the chapel and reception venue will not be provided. Parking at Castle Manor Inn can be found down the driveway in the large grassy field.

Question

I'm not Catholic. Can I still attend Mass?

Answer

YES! We want all of our friends and family to participate. Programs, with the Mass outline and responses, will be available at the chapel doors. Father Ronan will provide instructions at Communion time

Are photographs allowed?

Answer

At the reception, absolutely! We kindly request that you remain "unplugged" during the ceremony so that you may fully participate in the Mass. We have hired a professional photographer for the ceremony and reception, and will make sure you have access to any photos you'd like.

Can I bring a date or my kids?

Answer

We are very excited to celebrate with you, our loved ones! We ask that you kindly only RSVP for the guests who have been invited.

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction. How should I communicate that?

Answer

The venue will be providing gluten-free options already, but if you have any other food allergies or restrictions, please note them when you RSVP!
