We met in middle school, Jean Childs Young Middle, Atlanta, GA. He was Mr. Cool and I was Ms. Smarty-Pants. He showed me how to have fun and I let him copy my work from time to time. All the girls wanted him, but he was all mine! He would sneak to come see me and even convinced his friends to walk miles to my home. My mom loved her some Lil Larry and Mama Angela was like another mom to me. Young but driven and in love, we were unseparateable He even gave me a promise ring and escorted me to Junior Prom, where we wore baby blue. He went to Mays High and I went to Doug High, but we remained friends until God shifted our lives in different directions. On the eve of New Year 2020, God reunited our black love. We were both in a place where we asked God to send us a partner he saw fit to make us whole. Just like that, I received a DM saying, What's Up Babygirl from a familiar face. We talked everyday reconnecting, catching up and sharing our desires for the future. It's been UP ever since!! And now, we are rolling till the wheels fall off and determined to carry each other the rest of the way!!
