How we met

It all began on a beautiful Sunday morning at Dominion City Northampton, a place filled with worship, joy, and the presence of God. I had always believed that some moments in life arrive quietly, yet completely change everything. For me, that moment happened the very first day I saw her. I work with the Media Department in church, always focused on cameras, screens, and making sure every service runs smoothly. She, on the other hand, served faithfully with the ushering team, welcoming people with warmth and kindness. Although we were both serving in the same house of God, our worlds had never truly crossed until that faithful Sunday. As I walked into church that morning, busy as usual and thinking about the day’s responsibilities, I suddenly heard the sweetest voice say, “Welcome to church.” I looked up, and there she was, a very beautiful lady with the most radiant smile I had ever seen. Her smile carried a kind of peace and joy that instantly brightened my heart. For a brief moment, it felt as though everything around me stood still. What made the moment even more unforgettable was the lovely perfume she wore. It was soft, elegant, and comforting, leaving behind a fragrance that lingered long after I had walked away. Somehow, that scent became connected to the memory of her beautiful smile and gentle presence. From that very moment, church no longer felt ordinary to me. Every Sunday became something I looked forward to even more, not just because of service, but because I hoped to see her again. There was something special about her, the way she carried herself with grace, the kindness in her eyes, and the sincerity in her smile. Sometimes, love begins in the most unexpected places. Ours began in church, in the house of God, through a simple welcome and a beautiful smile that I will never forget.
