Brayden and Maycee first met at LCA's "Get Lit" Christmas Party and spoke briefly. Fast forward, a few months they met again when their good friend, Zach, invited Maycee to hang out at the LCA house. Maycee noticed a cute boy (Brayden) hanging around doing knife tricks with a butter knife and doing handstands then announcing, "NOT drunk YET!" A while later a few of the fraternity brothers were playing beer pong outside the RD's room. The next thing Maycee knew, the RD was threatening to write anyone under 21 up, regardless of whether they were drinking. Following Zach upstairs, Maycee ended up in Brayden's room. Brayden showed up a few minutes later, sat down, threw his arm around Maycee, they started talking and the rest is history!

On our first ever "index card" date night, Brayden and I came home to "paint and sip" after our original plan to go axe-throwing fell through. We decided to try a new technique for our painting where we switch canvasses every five minutes adding on to each other paintings. We switched canvasses for a final time after several rounds of painting. When it was time to reveal our canvasses, Brayden had popped the question on his! I was so shocked and caught off guard I thought he was pranking me, like the jokester he is!
