"Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace."
Sharing the halls of Nazareth College's O'Connor dorms, our connection began as many do - peripherally, as friends-of-a-friend. Though that string of mutual connections was little to bring two people so close, a few poorly concealed efforts to narrow the gap went a long way in a short time. We started asking questions, discovered some foundational similarities, and began conspicuously arriving at the same library location at the same times. Needless to say, those library sessions were far from academically productive (99% Matthew's fault) but were instead filled with conversations of Jesus, family, childhood, music, Harry Potter, and Star Wars. We participated in a mission trip, took a class on the synoptic gospels, began attending services at The Father's House, and went on a few "totally friendly and platonic" dates. In 2017, on March 18th, we finally started "officially" dating. Ten months later, on January 27th, we got engaged. This summer, on Sunday, June 3rd, we are excited to be getting married and to be sharing that special day with you! From then and until then; our story of when, how, and what next. Shared with you in love, Matthew and Kristina
