Yes! We'll have 2 busses running from the Marriott / Residence Inn (where our room blocks are) to the wedding venue, Spindletop, both leaving at 4:45PM. The busses will then be making return runs every hour from Spindletop, back to downtown Lexington starting at 9:15PM. Last bus call will be at 11:15PM.
Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation in order to adhere to our planned-out guest list, seating chart, etc.
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. If you have an extenuating circumstance, please reach out to Jeff and Blair to discuss and we'll try to work something out. Thank you for understanding!
We have room blocks at both the Marriott Lexington City Center and the Residence Inn connected to it. All details and links to book can be found on the Travel section of this website.
We have a set menu however we've tried to select an assortment of options that accommodate any/all dietary restrictions. You can select your entrée option on the enclosure card included in your invitation (including a vegetarian option). If you would like to inform us of any dietary restrictions, simply write this in on your RSVP card enclosure in the spot provided, and we will be sure to pass this along to the venue so your meal can be prepared accordingly.
Weather permitting, our ceremony will be outdoors, on the back lawn of Spindletop. Following the ceremony, the cocktail hour will take place on the back porch and lawn of Spindletop and then the reception and dinner will be indoors, in the main Hall. The weather in early November in Kentucky can be unpredictable - some days it is still incredibly warm, and some days you could get winter-like temps. We'll monitor the weather and make a call closer to the date but would recommend bringing a wrap, sweater, jacket of sorts just to be safe.
If you would rather drive to Spindletop yourself in lieu of taking the shuttle from downtown, there is parking at the venue out front and in side parking lots.
