I met Justin during the Fall of 2018 at Christian Brother's University. One of our fraternity's was hosting a Halloween Party and Justin, who attended the University of Memphis, attended with some of his brothers. At the end of the night, I found myself sitting on the couch beside Justin in an oversized Alabama sweatshirt with his first words being "ew, you're a Bama fan?" and me responding with a witty comeback to him being a Tigers fan. You know that saying, "right person, wrong timing?" That could not be any more true for us. We briefly dated in 2018 and decided that timing was not right. Fast forward to May 2020, Justin and I found ourselves out at the same bar together and the rest, is history. Our lives have changed a lot since June 2020; Justin has established himself in his career in law enforcement and continues to pursue courses and trainings to be the best officer he can be, I began my career opening a new office of my company and transitioned to a different division, we bought a house together, and probably my favorite, living our lives with our three cats, Bella, Thor, and Nova! On October 27, 2023, after two months of planning, Justin proposed to me during our sunrise photo shoot at Gulf Shores! Surprised and excited, I said yes, just to be given another surprise that he had our entire families come down for the celebration! Memphis has given me many things: the chance to play collegiate basketball, my best friends, the start of my professional career, and the chances to attend many professional sporting events; but, the best thing of all, is my forever person. We are so excited to enter into this next chapter of our lives together; April 26, 2025, here we come! - Kelsey
