FAQs

Question

Are children allowed to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

No, children are not allowed at either event unless part of the wedding party. There is a hotel connected to our reception hall, the event coordinator suggested that children could stay with a babysitter or older cousin in a hotel room.

Question

Is there a cocktail hour before the reception?

Answer

No, there will be a 3 hour break in between our ceremony and reception. Orland Park has several food options in the area. Check in for the hotel is also at 3pm so this time may be used for that, if needed.

Question

Will the chef accommodate for food allergies or preferences?

Answer

Yes, but we do need to know at least 1 month ahead of time.

Question

Will alcohol be served at your reception?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar and table wine will be available during dinner service.

Question

If a check is written as a gift for the wedding, who should I make it out to?

Answer

Any gifts are greatly appreciated for the wedding. We know it can be difficult to know who to make checks out to. We would suggest to only make checks out to one person's name rather than both to simplify the process. Such as, Steven Blaszczak or Elizabeth Voogt. Thank you in advance!

Question

What is the best way to RSVP for your ceremony and reception?

Answer

This website is the easiest way to RSVP for both the ceremony and reception. You will receive paper invites and if you choose to mail that back, that is the second option. Please let us know if you are planning on coming to both ceremony and reception so that we can better accommodate for space.
