Stephanie and Connor met during COVID on a dating app called Hinge. He liked her photo and from there they hit it off. Connor took Stephanie out for margaritas on a Sunday night where they talked until almost midnight, and then for salmon on Thursday, and then that Saturday morning he invited Stephanie to go sailing on Lake Washington. It was quite a busy week but the chemistry was instant. A friend texted Stephanie that Saturday night to ask how the sailing date went. Stephanie replied, "I'm going to marry Connor Blaser." They hadn't even known each other a week yet but something in the stars seemed to align and from then on, it's been nothing short of magic.
Connor took Stephanie to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in Washington last spring. They toured the entire field of flowers and were getting ready to leave when Connor suggested they take a photo together in the garden. What Stephanie didn't know was that Connor had saved a note on his phone so that when he passed it to someone to snap their photo, it instructed them to actually record a video as he was going to propose. The impromptu photographer took a few "photos" before Connor suggested to Stephanie, "one more...why don't you stand here...and I'll go here..", and he got down on his knee and asked her to marry him.
