If Meaghan's mom tells you how Meaghan and Jon met, you'll hear all about how she prevented class clown Jon from attending his 8th grade semiformal dance by giving him detention as his English teacher. Meaghan and Jon remember it a bit differently. After becoming acquaintences at Nichols Middle School, Meaghan and Jon went to different high schools (Jon to BP, Meaghan to Middleboro High). They would cross paths at get togethers with mutual friends, but wouldn't become close friends themselves until Jon transferred to Northeastern University in Boston while Meaghan was attending Emmanuel College down the street. They quickly became inseparable, even moving in together the following summer. After nine years (and seven total apartments), Jon finally proposed on a perfect July morning. They'd like to think their wedding will top the 8th grade dance that Jon had to miss and can't wait to celebrate with all their closest family and friends!
