Tyler and Catie met in 2016 when he was working for a local internet company - while in-between aviation jobs. He usually enjoyed the more dangerous task of climbing towers, but on this particular day he filled in for a co-worker that had called out. Catie recalls the van pulling into the driveway and hearing a knock. When she opened the door, Tyler was there.. stunned and fumbling over words. She didn't think much of it as she continued her work inside. After the tests were completed outside, Tyler approached the door again. When Catie answered, he heard the words clumsily fall out of his mouth - "Hello, I'm Tyler Blankenship and I think you are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. I'll just hate myself if I don't get your name". She was absolutely flattered.. but after more talking and learning about eachother, they both learned that she was under 18 and a relationship would be a bit inappropriate. Several years passed as Tyler continued his aviation endeavors, and Catie continued her education. The couple recalls running into one another in a grocery store - and the spark hadn't yet died out. (Even with an ex-girlfriend present... yikes!) After a few months of careful consideration, Catie decided to reconnect with him. "If no one else is taking you out on Valentine's Day, I am", she remembers from Tyler boldly leading their first conversation. Since then, many have fallen in love. Catie's family has fallen for the way Tyler loves her. While Tyler's family has fallen for the way Catie loves him. One thing is certain - friends, relatives, and most by-standers witness the infallible love these two share.
