We met while I was working at a local Dermatology office and he had just started his 4 year long Residency. We worked along side each other for a couple weeks and after chatting over phone and passing through the halls, I asked Luke to go out to a Drag Queen Show. Surprisingly, he went and that is where he asked me on a real date. On our actual date, we shared stories and got to know each other over overpriced wine in Blacksburg. From then on out, I knew and he did too that we were meant to be together.
Luke told me to be ready by 5:30pm for us to visit a Winery. Once we both got in the car to head that way, I knew something was going on. If anyone knows Luke, he LOVESSSS to talk. Well he was absolutely silent the entire 40 minute drive. When we got there, it was normal until we parked and there was only one table set up. That's when I knew and was counting down the minutes. I knew that this was the man I was going to marry and spend the rest of our lives together.
