Q+A

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

For the ceremony & reception, the dress code is black/black tie. We kindly request black-colored tuxedos/formal suits and black, formal, floor length gowns or pantsuits. White dress shirts under a tuxedo/suit are preferred.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will be unable to accommodate plus-ones unless it is specifically mentioned on your invite.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our venue has limited ceremony & reception space and we’ve decided to have an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding. Children are welcome at the Welcome Party on Thursday evening.

Question

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 20th.

Question

Will transportation to/from the venue be provided?

Answer

Yes - a shuttle will be provided to and from the hotels both before the ceremony and after the reception. The shuttle will stop at both the Fairfield Inn and Haworth Hotel. Before the ceremony, the shuttle will depart the Fairfield Inn at 2:50pm and the Haworth Hotel at 3:15pm. After the reception, the shuttle will transport guests back to the hotels as needed, with the final shuttle departing the venue at 12:00am.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes - there are two designated parking lots just south of the venue, off of Cleveland Ave. There is also street parking south of the venue on Cleveland Ave and 17th St. Overnight parking is available (must be picked up by 10am the next day), however we encourage guests to use the provided transportation and enjoy our open bar!

Question

Are there accommodations nearby?

Answer

Yes - we have reserved room blocks at the Haworth Hotel (224 College Ave) and Fairfield Inn & Suites (2854 W Shr Dr). Rooms can be booked through the links on the Travel page. Additionally, there are many hotels and AirBnBs around the Holland area.

Answer

We'll be providing various hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour + beef, salmon, & vegetarian main courses during the reception. Please be sure to list any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Question

Is it okay to take photos and videos?

Answer

Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Outside of that, yes! We would love for you to take photos & videos to share.
