The route from Vienna to Hódmezővásárhely involves multiple transfers: Vienna to Budapest by train, then transfer within Budapest to continue by train or bus. From Budapest to Hódmezővásárhely expect to have at least 1 transfer. Always count with delays and plan for extra time.
