Things To Do

Walt Disney World® Resort Orlando

Walt Disney World® Resort Orlando

1180 Seven Seas Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830
, (407) 939-5277

At Magic Kingdom, try the food at Casey's Corner and the Dole Whip Floats at Aloha Isle. Must-rides are Tiana's Bayou Adventure, TRON Lightcycle Run, and Haunted Mansion. Don’t miss the night time firework show—Tyler’s favorite—and a Mickey ice cream sandwich—Blake’s favorite. At Animal Kingdom, try the Satu'li Bowl and blueberry cream cheese mousse at Satu'li Canteen. Also, try a spiked Dole Whip (dark or coconut rum) at Tamu Tamu! Must-rides are Dinosaur, Expedition Everest, and Kilimanjaro Safaris. At Epcot, try the Croque Glacé at L’Artisan des Glaces—ice cream in a warm pressed brioche. Tyler recommends a pint of ale at Rose & Crown Pub and drinking around the world! Must-rides are Guardians of the Galaxy and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. At Hollywood Studios, try the Felucian Falafel plate at Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo and the Cold Brew Black Caf at Kat Saka’s Kettle. Must-rides are Rise of the Resistance, Tower of Terror, and Toy Story Mania.

Disney Springs

Disney Springs

1486 Buena Vista Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830
, (407) 939-5277

Disney Springs is a themed retail, dining, and entertainment center inspired by Florida's charming waterfront towns, historic architecture, and natural beauty. We highly recommend stopping by Pizza Ponte for a quick slice of their pepperoni pizza—it’s one of our favorite pizza spots. For Happy Hour, head over to STK Steakhouse; they offer a fantastic selection of specialty cocktails, wines, and tasty bites. For drinks, Wine by George is a must-visit—Blake loves the Frozcato or Frosé, while Tyler enjoys a nice glass of wine. If you’re craving something sweet, don’t miss Sprinkles, Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew, Gideon's Bakehouse, or Disney's Candy Cauldron.

Universal Studios Florida

Universal Studios Florida

6000 Universal Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32819
, (407) 363-8000

At Universal Studios, try the Hopping Pot for Butterbeer. They also offer a frozen Butterbeer, but we prefer the original one. Must-ride attractions are Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts (Tyler's favorite), Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit (which Tyler is terrified of), and Revenge of the Mummy (Blake’s favorite). At Islands of Adventure, try the food at the Three Broomsticks. Must-rides are Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (this ride scares Blake), Hagrid's Magical Creature Motorbike, Jurassic World VelociCoaster, and The Incredible Hulk Coaster.

Universal CityWalk Orlando

Universal CityWalk Orlando

6000 Universal Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32819
, (407) 363-8000

Universal CityWalk is its own bustling destination, with plenty to see and do — and eat and drink! Whether you’re on a date night, family excursion, or a night on the town with your best crew, CityWalk has a lot to offer. Full Disclosure: Although we visit Universal Studios less often than Disney World, we highly recommend a few standout spots: Jimmy Buffett's® Margaritaville, Cowfish, and NBC Sports Grill & Brew. For dessert, stop by The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen and try their milkshakes—Blake loves the Confetti milkshake with vanilla ice cream, confetti cake, vanilla buttercream frosting, rainbow sprinkles, and whipped topping. The gift shop is Tyler's favorite because they offer an assortment of candy, chocolates, and macaroons. For a treat to take home, don’t miss the "S’more Than A Feeling" or "Portland Cream" at Voodoo Doughnut.

SeaWorld Orlando

SeaWorld Orlando

7007 Sea World Drive, Orlando, FL 32821
, 407-545-5550

If sea animals are your thing, this is the park for you! Blake’s fondest childhood memories include visiting SeaWorld with her family, especially her grandparents. Her grandfather John would take all his grandchildren on the Journey to Atlantis water ride, which is very similar to Splash Mountain at Disney's Magic Kingdom. This park is kid-friendly, but also caters to young adults who enjoy the thrill of roller coasters. Must-rides are Journey to Atlantis (obviously), Kraken, and Manta.

À La Cart (Milk District Location)

À La Cart (Milk District Location)

609 Irvington Avenue, Orlando, FL 32803
, (407) 776-4693

À La Cart features some of the best street food offerings in Central Florida. It is inspired by the food truck parks of Oregon. À La Cart features multiple mobile food vendors and the bar inside features a rotating lineup of craft beers, as well as wines, ciders, seltzers, and more. Steak It Easy is our top pick at À La Cart. We highly recommend the Steak Sandwich and Picanha Cheeseburger served with your choice of house salad or French fries. Honestly, we often end up sharing both because we can't choose between them. Luckily, you can’t go wrong with either option. They also offer a fantastic drink selection, and there’s always something new on the menu that catches Tyler's eye.

Texas de Brazil - Orlando

Texas de Brazil - Orlando

5259 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819
, (407) 315-1135

Texas de Brazil holds a special place in our hearts. It’s where we’ve celebrated many milestones, from anniversaries to graduations and birthdays. Even though Tyler’s mother, Sherie, might not recall the restaurant’s name, she remembers the time Tyler sent her a photo of his food and how it was one of the first places he took Blake when they first started dating.

JuicyPot

JuicyPot

5206 West Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32808
, (407) 704-4934

For a unique dining experience, we recommend trying JuicyPot. It's a fun and interactive way to enjoy a meal, where you cook your own ingredients in a bubbling pot of broth right at your table. JuicyPot holds a special place in our hearts. It was here that Tyler had the opportunity to bond with Blake’s relatives and cousins. Auntie Liz (Blake's Aunt) always looks forward to dining here with us, and we’d love for you to experience this special spot too. P.S. If you need a dinner date, call Auntie Liz—she would be thrilled to join you!

Bahama Breeze (Waterford Lakes/UCF)

Bahama Breeze (Waterford Lakes/UCF)

1200 North Alafaya Trail, Orlando, FL 32828
, (407) 658-6770

Some of our best times have been at Bahama Breeze during their Happy Hour. Their menu features an array of tropical-inspired cocktails, refreshing beers, and delicious bites. Our Maid of Honor, Jordan, wanted us to highlight the Bahamarita: a frozen margarita with tequila, kiwi-melon, strawberry mango, and a spiked cactus juice shot on the side. Tyler’s top choices are the Bahamarita, Skillet-Simmered Jerk Shrimp, and Mango Habanero Wings. Blake’s favorites are the Ultimate Piña Colada, Skillet-Simmered Jerk Shrimp, and Crab and Three Cheese Dip. We hope you get a chance to experience this lively and fun spot during your stay! If you plan on going to Happy Hour, let us know—we’d love to join you! Happy Hour is Monday - Friday from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Late Night Happy Hour is Sunday - Thursday from 10:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Plant Street Market

Plant Street Market

426 West Plant Street, Winter Garden, FL 34787
, (786) 671-1748

Plant Street Market is a local indoor artisan market offering a diverse range of vendors with natural, organic foods and handmade products—all under one roof. Attached to the market is the popular and award-winning Crooked Can Brewing Company, known for its handcrafted beers (one of Tyler’s favorite spots). We love bringing Jager and Hunter along wherever they are welcome, and this market has a pet-friendly patio. Tyler recommends Michael’s Ali Coal Fired Pizza—build your own pizzas. Blake recommends the matcha blend from AntiquiTEAs. Our Maid of Honor, Jordan, recommends the Tuna Carpaccio and Salmon Nigiri at Norigami, which is also recognized as Michelin Bib Gourmand. Just like all of our other recommendations, if you plan on visiting the Plant Street Market, let us know—our Maid of Honor may join you!
