On Memorial Day Weekend 2021, Megan had a Hinge date and Blake was convinced to go out with friends from out of town. Megan's date didn't go well, so she met up with girlfriends at Mile High Spirits (if you know, you know lol). Blake happened to see her from across the patio and thought she looked familiar. Blake walked up to Megan and said "Where do I know you from" and Megan replied "You don't, but I'm Megan!" They talked about football (of course) and really hit it off! Megan turned to see a familiar face walking up to them and at the same time a woman hit Blake's shoulder and said "You never called from last weekend!" Blake insisted he didn't know her and she walked away after a few minutes. Then Blake turned to the man talking to Megan and tried to introduce himself but the man walked away angry. Blake asked Megan if that was her friend and she said no... that was actually my Hinge date from earlier (oops!). They laughed and Blake offered to buy her a drink for the awkward encounters they had just experienced. As they were getting drinks, Blake's friend came up to him and said he had bought the woman from earlier a drink to prank Blake. Megan thought that was funny, so she continued to give Blake a chance and the rest was history <3

This day is known as Loving Day, as the holiday references the names of Mildred and Richard Loving, who fought against the laws confining them and everyone else from marrying interracially. 2. If you are wondering where the password "TheMontgomerys" comes from, we are excited to announce we will be changing both of our last names to Montgomery, which is Blake's current middle name :)
