We became friends when we were just children in the 6th grade at Prescott Central Middle School. We knew quickly that we liked each other and began dating. Soon after we shared our first kiss that will be forever remembered by the both of us. We fell apart awhile later but remained friends all through school. At 19 years old we reconnected and the rest is history. We fell in love and never looked back since! 💕
About a week prior, my Aunt Kay had invited my family to an event she was performing at in Lebanon, which is where her and my father were born. Blake said it wasn’t his original plan, but once he knew my family would be together in my dad’s hometown, it just felt right to do it then. The first song my Aunt performed was the last song I recorded my father and I singing before he passed. I was instantly in tears and said it felt like it was a sign that he was there with us. Blake said this made the day even more special because he had already told my family he planned to propose to me and now he knew my Dad was a part of it too. We went to dinner at Demos’ which is my family’s favorite go-to restaurant in Lebanon. As we walked out that night my brother-in-law told me I dropped something out of my purse so I turned around and Blake had gotten down on one knee asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes! I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!💍
