If you have a free afternoon, head over to Edgefield. This 74-acre estate features a brewery, winery, distillery, and multiple restaurants. For some friendly competition, Lucky’s has pool tables and shuffleboard; there’s also a soaking pool, a movie theater, and a golf course on-site. Edgefield is one of Blake and Taryn’s favorite places to grab a beer and relax.

Iconic Oregon Waterfall. Multnomah Falls is just a short drive from Portland in the Columbia River Gorge and features a pretty waterfall with an easy walking path and scenic viewpoints. Permits are required and can be purchased online for $2 at https://www.recreation.gov/timed-entry/10089144

Hood River, a mountain town located 1.5 hours outside of Portland along the Columbia River Gorge, is one of our favorite places in Oregon. The drive is easy and has beautiful views along the way. There are many wineries along the Columbia River Gorge between Portland and Hood River, and Multnomah Falls is a quick detour on the way. Hood River has great food, drinks, and shopping, and is in close proximity to many hikes.
