Our go-to beach! 15 minutes from downtown Beaufort, the state park is beautiful to drive through and leads to miles of pristine beaches.
The Sands in Port Royal is a small beach on the sound. You can drive right up to the beach and look for shark's teeth, access a boat ramp, or simply relax and soak in the sun.
Follow the boardwalk into the Cypress Wetlands and Rookery to find alligators and thousands of birds. Free admission and open to the public daily!
Our favorite trail to walk, run bike, or in Blake's case... heely on. The trail is over 10 miles long and offers spectacular Lowcountry water and marsh views, coastal wildlife viewing, and historic points of interest as it goes through Spanish moss-draped neighborhoods. The best spot to watch the sunset over Beaufort.
The best place to be every Saturday morning! Local fresh fruits and veggies, flowers, meat and dairy, and Lowcountry cuisine. Grab a coffee and a reusable bag and walk around the market!
