In the Summer of 2017, Blake and Sabrina first met while serving at Young Life's Saranac Village in upstate New York. After a month of flirting and denying feelings for one another, Blake boldly asked on the last day, "who's your camp crush?". Two weeks after parting ways, Sabrina and Blake began to date long distance. After they had enough of that, Blake packed up his life in Charlotte and moved to the great city of Richmond a year later. Since then and cheesily enough, they've continued to fall in love over many dates of tacos, rock climbing, ice cream, and Blanchard's coffee. Almost three and a half years after meeting at Saranac, Blake got down on one knee and asked the question we'd all been waiting for. November 14th, 2020 is now one of their favorite days; and now are excited make May 21st, 2021 even more memorable.
