Blake & Rudi met in the year of 2015 during their senior year of high school through Rudi's sister, Nicki, who now coins herself as the family matchmaker. Blake was working as a busboy at the Cheesecake Factory while Nicki was working as a server. Her sister decided to set them up on a blind date which Rudi still says was one of the worst dates she has been on... Blake asked for a redo and they saw Milky Chance perform in Richmond, VA, where their relationship really began. Blake likes to say the first date was just a practice round. They have been inseparable ever since and their journey has taken them to four different states (VA, CA, AZ and UT) during the last nine years. They are extremely appreciative of the family and friends who have supported them through every step of the way and are excited to share such a special day with those closest to them.
