How do I book rooms?

What information will the resort need when I go to book?

Answer

You will need your passport information, how long you are staying, how many people in your party, and credit card information.

When should I arrive in Cancun?

Answer

Wedding events will begin on Wednesday April 27th, but come any time and stay as long as you want! The rates for your booking lasts for your entire stay, even if you would like to stay longer.

What do I need to enter Mexico?

Answer

Please bring your state ID and passport. Everyone needs to bring a passport that does not expire within 6 months of departure. NOTE: The real ID and Enhanced ID DO NOT allow you to fly to Mexico without a passport.

How do I get to the venue/hotel?

Answer

There is a shuttle available all hours of the day and night to pick you up from the airport and bring you to the venue, and then back to the airport for your return flight. You can book this when you make your room reservations.

How does the shuttle work?

Answer

When you book the shuttle, the resort will also ask for your flight information to make sure they are aware of any delays. Once you exit the Cancun airport outside, there will be a hotel shuttle concierge. You can then tell them your name, number of people in your party, and the resort name. They will then take you to the resort.

Can I rent a car?

Answer

We would not recommend it. We are not planning on leaving the resort for any reason.

What is included in the price/hotel rate?

Answer

Hotel room, all food (restaurant menus below), all drinks, activities on the resort, room service, taxes, tips, and all wedding activities. The whole enchilada.

What is not included in pricing?

Answer

Shuttle to and from the airport, excursions, Joe's coffee shop (at the reception area at resort), and any additional tipping.

Room costs cover all tips. If you decide to do anything off the resort (like an excursion) it is encouraged to give the guide a tip. ($20 per group would be more than sufficient)

Will we be going off the resort at all?

We will only be going off the resort for excursions which are optional!

Can I stay somewhere else instead of on the resort?

Answer

We would love for everyone to be nearby, but if you have other accommodations, you would still need to purchase a day pass with Margaritaville Island Reserve for the days you would like to be a part of the wedding festivities.

I can’t attend the wedding, is there a virtual event I can attend?

Answer

Yes! We will be recording our ceremony. When RSVP’ing, please select “virtual event” and you will be sent a link the day of the ceremony.

What are the COVID restrictions and precautions at the resort?

Answer

Do you need to be vaccinated to enter Mexico?

As of now, no, but as we get closer to the wedding date, we will post the protocols here.

Is Cancun safe?

Answer

Yes! And the resort is even more so. Cancun is a vacation destination and Rachel and Blake have been there a couple of times and absolutely love it. Since the resort is a travel destination, they take COVID very seriously and have precautions in place to make sure everyone feels safe during their travel and stay.

What is the weather like in Cancun?

Is there a doctor in case of emergencies or illnesses?

There is a medic on site at the resort.

Please RSVP on our website on the RSVP page by January 15th, 2022. Just enter your name and then you can RSVP for all the people in your party.

What should I bring to Mexico??

Answer

It will be warm, so bring lots of comfortable clothing for weather in the 70s-80s as well as swimming attire. Dinners do require semi-casual attire (no caps or swimsuits). Wedding event specifics are on our Schedule page. Bring lots of sunscreen and flip flops.
