Blake and Miranda were forced to sit next to each other for a 30+ hour car ride from Grand Rapids to Las Vegas. Despite their introverted personalities, they had nothing to do besides get to know one another. Blake sealed the deal later that week when he offered Miranda a blanket to keep her warm in cold desert temps. They continued to get to know each other after the trip by studying for exams at Grand Valley and climbing. Since then, they have climbed around the world together and became the power couple that they are today.
