You will be dearly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" online so that we can plan accordingly. Thank you.
We have addressed the invitations to the people we would love to come. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please ensure that you are RSVPing for yourself and your guest. Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.
For the wedding: Formal Attire means you have a couple options. We encourage you to dress up! Men can wear a formal suit, white shirt, and a conservative tie. Women should wear a floor-length gown, a mid-length cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit. We are requesting that women stay away from the colors white/ivory (reserved for the bride), and pinks (the colors in the picture on the top of the page for reference are reserved for the bridal party). Please do not wear jeans and t-shirts.
We love your little ones, really we do! However we respectfully request that you leave your kiddos at home, with grandma & grandpa or another loving caretaker and that you come celebrate our adult-only wedding day with us.
The ceremony will start at 5:00 pm exactly. Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to allow everyone to find seats and get settled so we can start on time.
Transportation will not be provided. All of the recommended hotels/stays are close to the venue.
Yes, we have a block of rooms reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn in Mooresville. See link under "Travel". Keep in mind, as our wedding is taking place on a holiday weekend, we would like to stress the importance of booking your room as early as possible.
Thank you very much for being so generous! There is a tab on our website that will directly link to all our registries.
Animals will not be permitted at any wedding events.
Smoking on venue grounds is prohibited. Smoking will not be tolerated by the Bride & Groom or venue at any wedding events.
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Because we have hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives, and we would hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for her to capture. After the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many photos as you want! We promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them.
We will be supplying alcohol and have a bartending service who will be handling the beverages. Due to venue policy and regulations, outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted. We ask that you please drink responsibly and in moderation. Please do not drink and drive - there are plenty of other options to ensure your safety. Our venue allows you to leave your car overnight if you are not in a position to drive home.
